  I tend to go to pieces if anything tragic happens to an animal in a movie. So, I have to ask, does the kitty in The Future have a happy ending?
  
  Answer:-All signs point to no. I feel the same way you do about animals in movies, so I looked this up before I saw it. This interview with the director and the comments on the article make it clear that the cat does not make it through the film. So now I will not see the movie.

  Miranda July is a writer, performer, and director whos new book is called No on Belongs Here More Than You. She has directed and starred in the indie film Me and You and Everyone We Know
  
  Answer:-According to her Yahoo biography, she "performed with punk groups Ce Ce Barnes Band and The Need, and released solo performance CDs on the independent label Kill Rock Stars."

July's first feature-length film, Me and You and Everyone We Know premiered in January 2005 at the Sundance Film Festival, where it received a special jury prize for originality of vision. It debuted internationally at the Cannes Film Festival where it was awarded with four prizes, including the Camera d'Or. It was released theatrically in July of 2005. July's videos ( Haysha Royko, The Amateurist, Nest of Tens, Getting Stronger Every Day) have been screened internationally at sites such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum and in the 2002 Whitney Biennial.
