• Question:-Why would the Bush justice dept cover up and help Obama escape the Rezko fraud?
  I see a lot of bushies here trying to make something of the Obama Rezko connection, and why the media and law are ignoring it. So yes, why would Bush appointed federal prosecuters fail to prosecute Obama? Why would Justice help out a political foe of the republicans who run the dept. Why would Bush cronies cover up for Obama and allow him to get away with federal felony fraud? WHy would Bush do this to us?

• Question:-Why does the Obama administration Justice Dept argue for DADT?
  The Justice Department will often argue for cases contrary to positions the president has publicly taken - such as Obama favoring repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell while the Justice Department argues for the policy after courts ruled it constitutional. The Obama Justice Dept. has also written a brief that seemed to compare homosexuality to pedophilia. Is it rational for people to be outraged at this, or is the Justice Dept. just doing their job? And..what exactly is their job?

  Not only does he want DADT voided BUT he doesn't want the courts to void it he wants congress to void it!
  So he spends millions of the taxpayers hard earned money to get the same basic results but via a different method! And that's if he is successful!

  Answer:-I don't get the legitimate objection to identifying yourself when casting a vote. I can certainly see the illegitimate reason one might not want to.

• Question:-Why would the Justice Dept. go after Gibson Guitar for wood purchase that broke some law in India and?
  totally ignore the voter intimidation and fraud by the black panthers? That was an easy case with film and witnesses and was a serious crime. Am I the only one with serious concerns about the Department of Justice?
  
  Answer:-Because Gibson is the ultimate responsibility where their raw material comes from and what vendors collect. They are being investigated for using endangered species of rosewood. There are endangered plant species, just as illegal to use as animals. Would you feel the same if they were using tiger skins on their instruments?
  
  As for those "Black Panthers" (both of them). It was investigated with no evidence of intimidation. Two guys showing off in front of a camera is not evidence of a crime, of idiocy, perhaps, but not a crime.

• Question:-Does the California Dept of Justice have updated information on criminal records?
  My record was expunged this past summer which was a battery misdemanor charge.I just recieved a letter from the california dept of health stating that they have recieved information from the ca dept of justice that I have been convicted with battery but the case was dismissed and which is now disturbed the peace, why is my record not showing that the case was dismissed and what can I do so I can get my license with the ca dept of health?

  The Supreme Court has already ruled that the Congressional power to regulate naturalization, in Article 1, Section 8, of the U.S. Constitution States also includes the power to regulate immigration.

• Question:-If the government abolished plea bargaining, how long would it take the justice dept. To process a years wortf?
  What I mean is how long would it take them to process the average amount of cases a year, including plea bargaining, under the new system, no plea bargaining?
