  • Question:-When will Apple most likely make an announcement about the 4th gen ipod touch?
I know it'll come out next month, but when will Apple make an announcement about it and its features?

Also, do you think it will be good enough to justify selling my 8gb 3rd gen ipod touch in perfect condition to buy the 4th gen ipod?

Answer:-The people at Cnet says that Apple is going to have a conference soon. They didn't give a specific date for the conference.

    Hope this helps!!!

  • Question:-When will Apple make the announcement of a 2nd generation iPhone?
With all the rumors of a 2nd generation iPhone that includes 3G connections and GPS posted on the internet and the fact that Apple is no longer stocking the iPhone in stores, when exactly will Apple official announce the new iPhone. What I mean is, like are there any public Apple events that are about to be given like one of the famous Steve Job's keynotes. I want an iPhone but don't want to get, then a new one come out. Thanks for answering!

Answer:-Yea, a lot of people say that during Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Steve Jobs will make an announcement for the new iPhone.

    WWDC is on June 9th
  • Question:-Is Apple expected to make another announcement before holidays?
I'm just wonderig if Apple is expected to make another announcement re ipods, macs, or iphones before the holidays roll around. Specifically, I'm wondering if there are any rumors as to the next time Apple will bump up the capacity of the ipod touch - I want one but I want more than 32Gb

Answer:-I highly doubt it...I wouldn't expect one 'till next fall.
  • Question:-What time is the Apple announcement today?

    Answer:-In about 1 and a half hours.
  • Question:-Tell me about the apple announcement. What new features does the Apple iPhone OS 4 have?

Answer:-1. Multi-tasking: This is an obvious one that many others have mentioned. Especially with the release of the iPad, Apple needs to add the ability to run multiple applications simultaneously. The devices become much more powerful when you can listen to Pandora while checking email, or receive a Skype call while also streaming TV.

    2. Live Widgets: The iPhone’s home screen is embarrassingly stagnant. There’s no excuse for it to always be 73 degrees in Cupertino. The weather app should be able to track your location and update the temperature accordingly.

    3. Distribution/price points: To keep developers and advertisers happy, Apple must increase its market share. During a recent three-month period, Apple’s growth remained flat, while Android’s share rose by 5.2 percent.

    4. Advertising: Apple is expected to roll out a new advertising service tomorrow that is the result of its purchase of Quattro Wireless. While it’s very speculative, the service could be instrumental in keeping application developers and carriers happy.

    5. Content and services:Other handset makers are seeing value in partnering with content companies as a way to differentiate themselves. Google started offering free turn-by-turn navigation; Nokia (NYSE: NOK) quickly followed suit.

  • Question:-iPod and Apple Announcement!!?
I have been seeing stuff about apple getting ready to ship new iPods. I was so excited becuase i've been with my 3rd gen iPod for 3 years now. I watched the announcement with excitement as to what apple had in store for us this time. I was amazed that an iPod touch was being shipped on the 28th. But in order to ruin my happy joy excitement time apple gave us 8 and 16 gb iPod touch. I was like wtf!! I saw earlier he said they had 80 and 160 gb classics.

So what i'm asking is should I get an iPod classic or an iPod touch? And if your going to buy one of the new iPods are you buying the touch or classic?

Answer:-I'm getting the 8GB ipod touch cause my video ipod 60 GB was stolen so I decided to get that one cause I don't download too many songs or videos. you should get the ipod touch 16GB is hotter than the classics ain't you tired of the old design?
  • Question:-Apple Announcement Today 9/9/09?
What is the big Apple announcement today 9/9/09?

Answer:-Nothing too big. The biggest news is the return of CEO Steve Jobs.
    Here is a list of covered material;

    IPods.

The iPod Nano got the biggest upgrade, with
    a video camera,
FM radio that can be paused live,
    a voice recorder
a pedometer built into the MP3 player.

The new iPod Nano will come in anodized aluminum in nine colors and is available in 8GB and 16GB versions, available for $149 and $179.

The iPod Touch will be available in 8GB, 32GB and 64GB, for $199, $299 and $399. The two higher-end versions will be 50% faster, Apple announced.

Despite rumors to the contrary, Apple decided to keep the iPod Classic, bumping up capacity to 160GB from 120GB.

And the iPod shuffle will be offered in five different colors, comes with an adapter so it will work with any headphones, and got a price cut to $59 for the 2GB model and $79 for the 4GB version.

Apple also announced that it has sold 30 million iPhones and 20 million iPod Touches, giving the iPod a 73.8% market share.

ITunes 9 and the new App Store.
Jobs introduced two other new products, including iTunes 9, which has a new look and a handful of new features, including "LP mode," in which users can download song lyrics, art, and band and song information.

Users will also be able to download bonus features for movies, move files from one computer to up to five others and post information about songs and albums directly to Facebook. And a new "Genius Mixes" feature will automatically create up to 12 playlists of songs that go well together from a user's iTunes library.

The new iTunes store features easier navigation with a cleaner layout and bigger image display. ITunes 9 is currently available for download.

Apple's music store has recorded 8.5 billion downloads, and 100 million customers have accounts, Jobs said.

For iPhone and iPod Touch users, Apple unveiled iPhone OS 3.1, which will allow users to download ringtones for iPhone users for $1.29 each. These are pre-made ringtones, unlike the ones users can currently make for themselves in iTunes. Apple made 30,000 of the ringtones available on Wednesday.

The App Store in OS 3.1 will also begin to make recommendations for applications using the same "Genius" recommendation technology that works on songs in iTunes. Jobs also said the new OS fixes some bugs from the previous version. IPhone and iPod touch users can download the new OS for free.
