  Was anyone else suprised to see the command Eli had over his offense yesterday??? Eli looked like a savvy vet!! Will we see this Eli Manning or the one that chokes this weeked againest the Cowboys?
  
  Answer:-Eli will choke. I hate to say that, I do feel bad for Eli always living in big brothers shadow. He has talent but will never be as good as peyton. I do belive he tries his best every down and you can not fault him for that.

  Answer:-Eli Manning. I'm sure glad my Chargers decided to trade for Phillip Rivers! Eli Manning is, like you said, one of the most overrated players in the NFL today, and possibly in the history of the NFL too! His defense won him 3 playoff games and a Super Bowl. His defense got him past the Packers with the interception in overtime. Peyton is one of the greatest there is and Eli is just walking in Peyton's shadow. The catch that David Tyree made against his head in the Super Bowl should not, and would not have happened with a decent QB, because Tyree should never have been in the position to make that kind of catch if it was a well thrown ball. Whenever Eli throws a ball it just kinda wobbles out of his hand and is quite off target from his receivers. Only the good receivers can control the football so Eli generally ends up with a low completions percentage. Eli's porousness was exposed when Plaxico was gone and none of his receivers could catch what he was throwing. Eli will be re-exposed this season without anybody to throw to that has hands like Plax did.

If I were you, I'd check out the prices on eBay for a while, and then figure out what price range is reasonable to you.

  Answer:-Eli Manning without a doubt. The Giants Defense is projected on every fantasy site as a top 3 start this week at home. If Megatron doesn't play (which is looking like a strong possibility) they won't have a chance. Think of what that Giants defense did to Cutler and the Bears. Eli is going to be on the field a lot more than Brady.

  Answer:-Eli. He's in a better spot this week in that he's familiar with the system and recievers and Favre still hasn't shown a comfort level with the Jets O.

  Answer:-Getsal's answer troubles me. I agree that doctors, scientists etc probably don't get the recognition they deserve but to denigrate actors and suggest that they are responsible for the decline of humanity is silly. It is a profession which deserves respect and those who excel in it deserve recognition. Theatre, film and television can do much to advance humanity. To sit in a theatre or watch a film and be exposed to a character, whose voice might not otherwise be heard and to be able to understand them and empathise with them makes the viewer a little more human.

  i did for most except kathryn bigelow deserved best director and either up in the air or the hurt locker shouldve gotten best picture. i liked avatar, but i have trouble saying it was even the 3rd best out of the 5 nominated movies. im just hoping avatar doesnt get the oscar for this whole "revolutionizing film making" thing.
  
  Answer:-I think Kathryn Bigelow definitely should have won Best Director over James Cameron. I completely agree that Avatar should have taken all of the technical awards, but as far as Best Picture? The storyline was crap. It was Pocahontas in space with blue people. I would have preferred The Hurt Locker or Inglourious Basterds for Best Picture. Tarantino should have won for screenplay. Michael Stuhlbarg should have won Best Actor in Musical or Comedy over Robert Downey Jr. He was incredible in A Serious Man. Also, Sandra Bullock winning Best Actress was a complete disaster. The Blind Side was pretty much a Lifetime movie. She was good in it, but definitely not Best Actress material. Carey Mulligan should have won, hands down, for An Education. She was terrific.
