  She will be in the hospital and in a rehab center for a long time, months probably. And then she'll need out-patient therapy after that.

  Answer:-Without Question - The PILOT should be sued. This was no "random act" but rather - Lauren was seriously injured as a direct result of the incompetence and negligence of the pilot of the aircraft - Kurt Richmond of Frisco, TX - whose actions clearly violated FAA Regulations pertaining to proper and safe aircraft operation procedures. Mr. Richmond should have shut the engine down and waited for the propeller to come to a complete stop before allowing Lauren to exit the aircraft. He then should have instructed her to stand well clear of the aircraft prior to re-starting the engine. But he failed to exercise good judgment and to use common sense and instead - he violated FAA Regulation 91.13 by operating his aircraft in a careless and reckless manner by leaving the propeller running - of all times - at NIGHT, when a spinning propeller can be completely invisible - while allowing Lauren to exit the aircraft and to remain in its vicinity. Mr. Richmond will indeed be Judged by the FAA and found GUILTY for Violating one or more FAA Regulations. Furthermore - should Lauren take legal action against Mr. Richmond to seek compensation for having her career as a model trashed because of his negligence, his incompetence and his complete failure to observe FAA Regulations - he WILL be Judged and found to be Fully Liable for Lauren's injuries.

  Answer:-This effects not only her, but her family and the pilot, and prayers in Christ should be for all to find the grace of God to overcome it, as overcomers we must be.

  Theologically, it can be asked whether is whether Scruggs' accident was chastisement for sin, as in dressing provocatively, immodestly (so that the first thing men tend to look at is not the face but sexual organs - which we and I have not always resisted as we should), or a Job-type work in which a righteous soul was tried and made more complete, and in the end is rewarded with more than he lost, being a partaker of consolation due to having been a partaker of suffering. (cf. 2Cor. 1:!7) And the answer to that is we do not know.
  
  Others use this accident to attack faith under the premise that God would not be moral if He allowed such, but which premise is based upon ignorance of Scripture and idolatry. The questions are,
  
  Can the God who gave beauty and eyes to see it with take such away?
