• Question:-During Wheel of Fortune's Bonus Round, why does Pat Sajak never pick up the prize envelope?
  Wheel of Fortune's modern Bonus Round consists of a contestant spinning a smaller wheel as means of winning bigger bonus prizes. After the contestant spins the wheel, it comes to a stop with an arrow clearly pointing which prize envelope to take. For some reason, Pat Sajak reaches in front of the contestant and points to the envelope but NEVER PICKS UP THE ENVELOPE. He forces the contestant to pick it up and then immediately after, Pat asks for it back. How rude. Why does Pat Sajak never pick up the envelope?
  
  Answer:-He never Picks Up the envelop because some people think its good luck to pick it up first. Which is the contestant. So that is why he does that. I hope that helped!!

  Answer:-He knows what all of the puzzles are before they come up and most likely he counts them during the break from the notes on his que card.

  Answer:-Probably to avoid any question of impropriety - if he dropped it or otherwise flubbed it somehow, someone might think there was some sort of hanky-panky being tried to switch cards. By making the contestant be the only one to touch the card, it eliminates the possibility.

  Answer:-Vanna White’s Layered Pea Salad
  
  In a 9x13x2” casserole dish, layer the following:
  
  1 head chopped lettuce
  1 cup diced celery
  ½ cup green peppers, diced
  6 sliced hard-boiled eggs
  1 medium onion, diced
  1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed
  8 to 10 cooked bacon strips, crumbled
  
  Mix 2 cups Miracle Whip salad dressing with 2 Tablespoons sugar. Spread on top of layers in dish. Sprinkle one package of shredded cheddar cheese on top of that. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
