• Question:-How hard is it to get student seating at Duke basketball games?
Since Duke is really good at basketball, I'm sure most of the students watch the games. I can imagine it might be pretty hard with a school of around 14000 students with a stadium with around 9000 seats. Is it super hard to get a seat in the student section? Also, is it possible to go to a big game without sleeping outside in tents? Duke is a potential school of mine, and I'd like to know how difficult it would be to watch a basketball game as a student there. Thanks

Answer:-While my sister attended Duke from 1998-2002 as she was completing her undergrad, she was able to obtain tickets to a game 3 times. That's it. You see the student section is actually very small. From the stories I was told, it was 750-1000 capacity tops. You also need to know that the student section is standing only. No seats. As far as the big games, unless you can befriend someone and convince them to be the one's who rough it in tents for a week prior to the big Duke-UNC games forget it. P.S. If you are considering Duke University I assume that you are either brilliant or come from a very well off family. Either way I hope you are not basing your attending of this institution by the ease of scoring some tickets to a game. Good luck.

  @ROBERTSPEED.

You might as well not try and lie over the internet because anyone who types as poorly as you do could have never attended Duke. It would be much more believable that you attended a community college and probably dropped out of that.
• Question:-The Duke basketball team has 12 women who can play guard and 9 tall women who can play the other three positio?
The Duke basketball team has 12 women who can play guard and 9 tall women who can play the other three positions. At the start of the game, the coach gives the referee a starting lineup that lists who will play left guard, right guard, left forward, center and right forward. In how many ways can this be done?

Answer:-Since there are 12 women for 2 guards and 9 women for 3 others
  12P2*9P3
  132*504=66,528 different ways
• Question:-How much money can i get for a basketball signed by the 2005 duke basketball team??? ?
i have a basket ball that was signed by the 2005 duke basket ball team. it has jj reddick and sheldon williams on it. i also have a ball signed by the 2007-2008 unc basketball team with everyone on it. anyone know how much they are worth??

Answer:-It might help to get it authenticated, but you could list it with a memorabilia site or e-bay with a note that it can be sold pending this less any fees for doing so.
A lot depends on the quality and condition of the ball as well. Most need to be in new condition and be cared for in a way that there is no wear on the signatures as well, but those type of things usually sell for more after more than a few years.
I would suggest that if these are high quality balls and in good condition, that you buy a display case and keep them and wait and see when some of the players reach the height of their basketball life; then try to sell them later.

• Question:-Why did Gregg Paulus switch from basketball at Duke to football at Syracuse?
There's obviously something I missed here. He was a beast at Duke at basketball, and even if he wanted to play football he could have stayed there because God knows they need him.

  Anyway, what am I missing?
Right, but why leave Duke (one of the best Basketball programs in the country) for Syracuse?

Answer:-He ran out of basketball eligibility. There's some weird rule or loophole that will allow him to play a semester of football.

golden globes red carpet

• Question:-How to go to the Golden Globes Ceremony (Red Carpet)?
Is it there a way I can go to the golden globes ceremony red carpet? I'm really lucky to be on L.A. on Jan.17 (date when the golden globes wil be held) What can I do to be there?

Answer:-A limited number of bleacher seats set up in front of the Beverly Hilton Hotel for fans who want to catch a good glimpse of their favorite stars arriving on the red carpet before the show. However, there's a big catch. Unlike the Oscars, this seating isn't free. And they only sell bleacher tickets to hotel guests, as part of a hotel room/tickets package priced from $1,800 to $2,600 (with the $2,600 getting you seats in the front row of the bleachers). Apparently, there is no place (other than the bleachers) where people can just stand for free and watch the arrivals. So, your only option is to book a room at the Hilton - or forget about it.

• Question:-Miley Cyrus on the Red Carpet Golden Globes.?
Not a fan of Miley because, well honestly I'm way out of the age group and don't know anything about her.

Is she a total idiot? Or does she just know what image people want? The segment I saw of her on the Red Carpet was "OH MY GOSH!" every sentence break and then she made a comment about getting a car with a rollbar like a convertible. She seemed smart enough to admit that her boyfriend isn't 25 years though. So i'm just wondering. Is she another young idiot based on image or is she the full blown idiot like Jessica Simpson.

  Concerned Parent!

Answer:-Let me put it this way ... she's stupid, but she's smarter than the majority of her fans.
