- Question:-Can somebody tell Chip Kelly that if I wanted to watch Arena Football I would find it myself?
You don't have to force it on me, Chip.
Yeah I know that the Wisconsin coach is right behind Chippie in the assholery standings.
Answer:-Tell it to Wisconsin, too.
Look at KZ. He is hopeless. - Question:-Is Chip Kelly positioning himself to choke in a big game for the third year in a row?
Answer:-Just shows you how weak the PAC 10 is - Question:-Is Oregon struggling because Chip Kelly treated Erin Andrews badly?
Chip was a bit standoffish with the sexy sideline gal in the crucially important pregame interview, is that why Oregon is struggling? Karma?
Answer:-I loved the interview. Erin Andrews is an airhead. - Question:-Do you think the Oregon ducks coach chip kelly is just makeing threats?
he suspended lagerret blount for the whole year then he comes back mid season.
Answer:-Technically, that was Oregon University itself that suspended Blount, not Kelly. And it was also Oregon University itself that suspended Masoli, but Masoli's reasoning is far more serious than Blount's was so I think that Masoli is done in Oregon - Question:-What college did chip kelly coach before oregon?
Answer:-there is no such college. - Question:-why would chip kelly want to take the bucs job?BQ?
he's a college spread offense coach, the bucs clearly do not have the resorces for his offense, that type of offense stinks in te NFL, and the bucs have some of the most apathetic fans in the league. BQ: who will win the pac-12 north next season? washington and KP1?
Answer:- - Question:-Chip Kelly blew it! ugh!!!?
Chip Kelly coaching wasnt good
going for a running play 4 and goal instead of kicking the field goal!
Answer:-EXACTLY. And, bad clock management at the end of the game. What the hell with the blown 35 seconds at the end of their touchdown drive? And, not calling timeout after Dyer pretty amazing almost tackled run. - Question:-Is Chip Kelly the best COACH in the College Football (please read in its entirety)?
Diligent preparation and hours of analyzing game film, not talent, is what makes the Oregon Ducks so good, which is a testament to the greatness of Coach Kelly.
Now, you're probably wondering why I capitalized the term, "coach," in the question box. Well, as most know, in the college ranks, a coach who wins a championship per se' doesn't necessarily reflect on his coaching ability; in many cases, it just means that he's a great recruiter. Pete Carroll, whose now the Seahawks head coach, and Jim Tressell, for example, are great recruiters, but not great game coaches. Chip Kelly, by comparision, never has a top recruiting class, yet he's so successful. This, therefore, is a manifestation of his great coaching skills and gameplan.
If you run through Oregon's starting lineup this year, you won't find many blue chip highschool prospects. LaMichael James and Kenjon Barner, the two runningbacks, were both obscure prospects who didn't receive many scholarships. Darron Thomas, the Quarterback, was also a guy who settled for Oregon because he didn't receive scholarships from bigger, well-known schools.
Over the past 5 years, Oregon hasn't recruited a single 5-star highschool prospect, according to rivals.com, which is incredible!
Florida, by comparision, has FIFTEEN five-star prospects, which is partially why Urban Meyers has had success----he had talent on the field.
In his short tenure as a Division 1 college coach, Chip Kelly, along with Jim Harbaugh (Stanford head coach) and Gary Patterson (TCU's head coach), is the best college coach in the nation. Other guys, such as Jim Tressell, Mack Brown, Les Miles, etc. are just great recruiters.
Kelly will, without a doubt, be a good NFL coach if he chooses to go that path.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Answer:-While I admire your attention to detail, and mostly agree with you that Kelly is indeed a good coach. Let's wait and see how they stack up against someone outside the Pac-10. I am not an SEC homer either. I just have a good feeling the Pac-10 isn't very strong this year. And that will be answered come bowl time. Who knows Oregon may thump Auburn. I am personally rooting for Oregon to win. But I would reserve any kind of judgment until they play somebody outside the Pac-10 that is worthy. Oregon has played New Mexico, Tennessee and Portland State out of conference. The team I would use other than the Ducks to give the conference credibility is Stanford. They played teams like Sacramento State, Wake Forest and Notre Dame. These are all schools that are just terrible. With USC's decline there are destined to be some teams pick up those wins. I am not 100% certain how deep and good these two teams from the Pac-10 are. And would reserve any judgment until both teams have played their bowl games against good out of conference opponents. I am by no means saying the Pac-10 is terrible. They are a solid conference. I just don't see much evidence within the conference to tell how strong they are. A lot will be told come Bowl time. Who knows the Pac-10 could show it is the toughest conference as well. - Question:-Which of these Two College footbal Head Coaches "CHIP KELLY" or "DAN MULLEN" which is the BETTER HEAD COACH ?
- I chose these division 1 college football head coaches because they are from Manchester New Hampshire and New Hampshire is where I live.
* "Dan Mullen" is the Head college Football Coach at Mississippi State Bulldogs.
* "Chip Kelly" is the Head college football Coach at University of Oregon Ducks.

joe paterno
- Question:-With Joe Paterno fired, who is now the longest serving Coach of a state college football team?
Of all state football coaches currently working, who is the longest serving? I am guessing it WAS Joe Paterno until this week.
Answer:-Well the longest coaching on one team is Frank Beamer. He has coached VT since 1987 - Question:-Will evangelical pastors use the Joe Paterno analogy for people who do good works but aren't saved?
Like Joe Paterno, people can spend all of their adulthoods committed in doing what is right (teamwork, charity, integrity). But then just one mistake can ruin the lifetime of work achieved.
Answer:-But then they can ask for forgiveness and it will be granted. - Question:-Are Jerry Sandusky, Joe Paterno and the other Penn State officials building the Penn Star?
I heard that Jerry Sandusky, Joe Paterno, and the Penn State Empire are building a space station: The Penn Star. The likes of which our galaxy has never seen before. Is this true?
Answer:-From Penn State to the state pen....it seems so..so...right! - Question:-Hugh Heffner and Joe Paterno are about the same age, but who played the more important role in history?
Hugh Heffer established the adult industry. Joe Paterno established college football where it is today. Twenty years from now, who would you look back to and say had a bigger role in our history.
Answer:-hef of course
mark k - Question:-Why is Joe Paterno being punished for fulfilling his legal obligations and expected protocol at Penn State?
He did EXACTLY what he was supposed to do when he heard about Sandusky. To the T.
Penn State's guidelines said to report it to the athletic director. Paterno did that.
It's the athletic director who then failed to perform HIS duties.
Why is the legendary coach Joe Paterno being fired?
Answer:-It's all about protecting the Penn State brand. McQueary witnessed the assault and reported it to Paterno but McQueary didn't call the police and still has his job. Paterno didn't witness the assault so he forwarded the report. It was the college administration that decided to hush it up...to protect the Penn State brand.
If they had fired McQueary people would have said, "Who?" So they fired Paterno as a useless declaration that they were "tough on child abuse." It's Paterno's superiors who dropped the ball, not Paterno, and they're now facing charges. Paterno was sacrificed to protect the system from public opinion. No child is safer as a result of Paterno's firing but it gave the ignorant mob a body to lynch. It's all about the brand. Just try selling shirts with any college's name on without a contract and you'll see how serious they all are about protecting their brand.
If you think it's so easy to go outside the chain of command in an education hierarchy, here's an example. An elementary teacher noticed suspicious bruises on one of her students and reported it to the administration on more than one occasion. One day the boy came in and had bruises on his back and legs (from being hit with a broom handle) so she called the police herself. The administration came down on her like a ton of bricks and threatened her job. She was told, "Don't you have any compassion for a sick adult?!" Laws (passed several years later) requiring teachers to report suspected abuse aren't there to force teachers to act as much as to protect them from the administration if they do.
You're right; Paterno did EXACTLY what he was supposed to do. If he had witnessed the assault himself he would have been justified in calling the police. McQueary DID witness it and didn't call the police. - Question:-Now disgraced and fired for not protecting children, what will be the legacy of Joe Paterno?
What will be the legacy of coach Joe Paterno?
His name is already off the Big Ten trophy. And he will probably have other honours removed too.
What will be his legacy now that all of this has happened?
Answer:-He will be known as a very good coach who really screwed up and deserved to lose his job. - Question:-Is this proof Joe Paterno is the classiest act in college football?
All his players are devoid of talent, therefore they couldn't possibly be paid. Ergo Joe Paterno doesn't pay players. Class act.
Answer:-Todd Blackledge was good. - Question:-After being fired for choosing not to protect kids, what sort of example does Joe Paterno set for young people?
What kind of example does someone like Joe Paterno set for young people, for future leaders, and for future mentors?
Answer:-A piss poor one. - Question:-Why is everyone in Penn State acting like Joe Paterno has died?
Seriously give me me a break this man cover up knew what was going on didn't say anythingng. Now they act like Joe Paterno is some kind of god to penn State?
Answer:-He was the head of everything and ran the show for years! He is a disgrace. In fact he is so controlling when they told him to step down he did not and said he would leave at the end of the season ( which would be a nightmare for PSU) so they had to fire him!
Of course a real man would have stepped down and a hero would have save the boys by reporting it!
He is neither of those- maybe not evil himself but a greedy selfish fool!
I think the fact that he make 1 million a year says a lot too ! JOE NOW acts like he could do nothing more yet he was the guy that ran the show! Anyone with JOE PA power would be a force to be reckoned with. In fact he is the reason Sandusky left in 1999. They ALL knew( administration) about the sick mind and they chased SANDUSKY out! Nobody in sports understood at the time but now it makes sense. Why else would they force Sandusky to leave when he was winning them football games with his skills ( look at the record in his time at Penn State) he said at the time it was to work with his charity. That makes this even more nasty. Joe was on the board at his charity for children too!
SO Joe PA KNEW HE WAS A MOLESTER AND FIRED HIM for it TO LET HIM Go RAPE POOR CHILDREN AT the CHARITY! He did not do anything about that either! He just swept it under the rug! - Question:-Why is everybody coming down on Joe Paterno more than Sandusky who committed the crime itself?
Seriously, if it was anybody other than Joe, an average coach who nobody knew, ESPN wouldn't spend nearly as much time covering the story as they are now. Everything is being made about Paterno and not the kids or Sandusky. Isn't that the pressing issue? Joe wasn't the ONLY one who *could* have done more morally...
Answer:-It is a moral outrage! Joe did everything he needed to do legally and still Penn St. screws him over. Fu*k Penn St., fu*k all the haters who say Joe is rapist or he could have done more. Screw them all!
Sure Joe could have done more, but what about the guy who witnessed the act. You all are a disgrace.
